Teaberry Titan T - CB Radio

This little CB radio was close to my heart. At age 11, I got my first CB in 1977. This was the era of CB. No one had a mobile phone. Calling within your neighbourhood cost your extortionate amounts of money. So having a chat with a friend a few blocks away was something reserved for the richy rich.

This little set was not producing any modulation on the output signal. So the first place to look was the microphone.

As you can see from the picture, the wiring had somehow suffered a lot. Probably from a good rag chewing session. So it was all cut away and the cable stripped back to reveal new wiring.

The PTT switch was soldered in again and everything positioned back into the housing so that it could be safely closed.

The CB was back on frequency and delivering it's rated 4 Watts of AM power.

Another set restored to its original condition.
